Fair Hills Farm is a simple small farm operated by the Read family.
Bryan and Christine have 8 children: Amanda (18), Rachel (15),
Joseph (14), Abigail (11), Mary (9), David (6), Elizabeth (4) and
Benjamin (2). They all enjoy homeschooling and working on the
property together.

| Where We Are |
Fair Hills Farm is located on 22 acres in
the foothills of the Appalachians in
Northeast Alabama. We are 90 miles from
Atlanta, Georgia and 50 miles from
Birmingham, Alabama.

| What We Do |
We are a newly established small family farm. Our specialty is raising
pastured eggs, and we currently keep a small flock of Red Star hens and are
raising a new flock of heritage breed American Dominique chickens.
We have grown gourmet salad greens and various other herbs and vegetables.
We are also in the process of establishing an orchard - and learning as we
go. We are working towards growing and raising most of our own food,
occasionally having an overflow to share with others.
